This is an interesting room for several reasons. It has a huge central design focal point, which is a stone fireplace with an attached stone staircase that goes up and around the back side of the fireplace. I don't think I've ever seen stone staircases inside of a home either! It's definitely different...Then add to it, twisted and knobby wood railings and it's one-of-a-kind!! I know many will try to mimic this in their own designs, and they will be equally as beautiful, but this one is a one-of-a-kind creation.
I am loving the rustic wood beams used in the ceiling. They are raw and unprocessed, much like the wood paneling on the far wall. This rustic theme carries through much of the home. The only finished areas seem to be the flooring and the wall on the left, which is likely covered in dry wall and given a textured finish.
This is a true gem of a rustic cabin home, and one I would enjoy living in!

Now this is on the tiny home bandwagon. It is a unique cabin style tiny home, complete with a hot tub! I believe that adding a hot tub to your home's design is the best thing you can do to improve the quality of your space and the value of your home! I know I may get some people who disagree, so let me drive the point home by asking, when is the last time that you've soaked in a hot tub and been disappointed.....exactly. Probably never. Unless it was not directly connected to, or near your house maybe, and you had to even commute there by car or something. Then a hot tub wouldn't be as enjoyable. But imagine that hot tub was accessible directly from your home as it is in this case, and then it would be perfect!
So, I think this is the perfect home, albeit a bit small. But anyone who's looked into a tiny home knows that utilizing the outdoor space is very important since there's not much indoor space to work with. And adding a hot tub to the outside space of a tiny home is genius!
So, if I was in the market for a tiny home, would I choose this one? Probably. :)

Believe it or not, this cabin was built from a kit! How beautiful! I wouldn't have guessed!
Actually, a lot of modern cabins are built this way. It saves time and money, plus it avoids common pitfalls and guesswork which frequently happen when building a cabin from scratch. If you've ever tried building a cabin from scratch, you'll know what I mean.
Now, I'm not saying that kit building is the preferred way for everyone...but it does have its advantages. But it lacks originality and uniqueness. And a large amount of cabin lovers are looking for just that when they decide to build their own cabin home. So, that being said, if you are in the market to build your own cabin, make a list of what's important to you and then do your research! Then decide between scratch building or kit building, and enjoy your journey!

Now, this isn't a cabin exactly, but it was still worth sharing because it is an interesting home. I love the rooftop terrace on this place! What a great area for entertaining guests. I wonder if that brick area is a fireplace...It probably is since its directly above a fireplace on the lower level. There is another home close to this one, so it's not very private, but still a fun escape from everyday life. I could see myself staying here, especially if it's near a lake!!!

No, I'm not in the business of renting cabins, but i couldn't pass up the opportunity to share this little gem that I came across It's pretty likable because it is so unique and different! The entryway is interesting and the tower is a great feature. It looks like it is in a remote area, which is nice for some peace and quiet! Might have to make my way out to North Carolina to rent this cute little place someday!
Love this room! It makes good use of the space available, and is decorated nicely in subdued and monochromatic colors. I'm wondering ...
This is quite the bathroom. I don't know of any cabin with this much extra space to have a bathroom this large, but what the hey... ...
What a gorgeous dining room! I like the colors used here, as I tend to favor the more Gray-Brown color to the basic browns regularly f...
