A-Frame Cabin in Lake Tahoe

What a cozy little a-frame cabin!  And in Lake Tahoe, to boot!  I would definitely stay in this little retreat, wouldn't you?   What's not to like?  (Unless you don't like snow...)  The homeowner of this cabin likely owns two or three different homes in warmer climates...

A-frames were primarily built with such steep roof pitches, as to keep off the snow.  And that makes for slanted interior walls too, which can be a bit challenging to decorate and furnish.  The inside space of an a-frame is as equally unique looking as the outside, but where to put the furniture...?? Since there are usually at least two straight interior walls for items such as kitchen cabinets and your refrigerator etc., you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Despite their decorating challenges, a-frames still presently remain one of the most popular designs for cabins.
