Secluded and Serene Glass Tiny House

Now, I don't know if I'd go for a place like this since there's no privacy, but it certainly is cute. I like the overall design of the space, especially the window details and the shape of the structure. This place doesn't include facilities, of course, but it's a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of normal everyday life. This would be a great place to do some writing, if you were an author or something. The location couldn't be any more serene and secluded.

Would you stay at a place like this?

Historic Cottage in Galveston, Texas

I just fell in love with this little historic cottage that I found online! It originally caught my eye because of the sage green walls and that adorable artwork in the corner. I MUST go there someday!!  I am also loving the wicker chairs and purple table, even though that doesn't even match anything in the room! Haha.

I think that whoever put this home together had an excellent taste in design. I don't even know what this style would be called exactly, but maybe Cottage Chic?  I tracked down more photos because I love it so much so, enjoy!

Another Tiny Cabin With A Moss Roof

Here's another cute little tiny cabin!  I think this one is almost as good as the last one since it has a small porch area, complete with seating for two! The only thing I would change is make the porch come out a little farther on one of the sides of the front door, so the two seats can be right next to each other.  But maybe an older couple lives here and they don't want to sit right next to each other! Ha!
I wonder if the mossy roof is for insulation or just for character? I also am loving the custom wood work on the front door. And the color of the stain they used on the wood, it's beautiful!
I bet this is a small vacation home, like for camping etc. I would adore this as a getaway from all of society! Vegas is another warmer option... Haha.

Unique Hexagonal Tiny Cabin Home

I am in love with this tiny home! It comes complete with unique and roomy interior, lofted sleeping area, custom wood working throughout, and even moss and foliage on the roof area!

I don't think there's anything you could do to improve upon this structure! It shows some young adults hanging around it but I bet it was made for grown ups. I've always loved hexagonal homes, or any unique shape for that matter. They are so much more interesting that rectangular homes.

I wonder what something like this would cost to make yourself? Or if it's a pre-fab home of some kind. I bet it wouldn't be much, honestly. Although, that wood working is impressive. I bet that's the majority of the cost right there.

Awesome and Unique Cylindrical Tree House

Now, isn't this a one-of-a-kind tree house!? I love the design of it. I have never seen another one like it, that's for sure. I love the dark cedar shingles on the exterior, with some contrasting colors on the door and window frames. The walkway to it is certainly unique too. I love the metal railings. So simple and minimal.  I wonder if this is an actual kids tree house, or if it was intended for adults? What do you think?

Light And Bright Cabin Chic Room*

Now, I know that these cabins made with a lighter, more bleached wood aren't for everybody, but I certainly enjoy them! This cabin has the perfect mix of both traditional wood, and the lighter more whitewashed style that I like.  It's really more of a blonde pine probably, but I like it because it makes the space look more open and bright. Plus the vaulted ceiling makes it feel larger.

This type of design kind of reminds me of a beachy type cabin, but this one definitely looks like it's in the woods. I like the muted and monochromatic color scheme too, but with a couple pops of coral. More colors would be ideal for my liking, but this one is very subdued and unassuming. I think this room would look good with more artwork, instead of a mirror. This artwork is made of recycled barn wood and it's perfect for a space like this.

I also like this coat rack from the same company. It's perfect for a rustic country cabin home.

Cute and Hip Tiny Cabin

Wow, this is adorable! I love the light woods used in this tiny cabin home! I enjoy lighter more pale woods in a home. The darker woods just make the room feel so much smaller.
I also like how the stairs were built. I am not the most graceful person and I just know that those little ladders and steps that they put in tiny homes are an accident waiting to happen for me! The steps in this home are staggered and have large areas for your feet, so there's almost no messing up. I also like the sliding wood barn door to the bathroom. Those types of doors are super handy and don't take up a bunch of space, so they are perfect for tiny homes.

I don't think I could ever downsize enough to ever live in a tiny home, but definitely for a getaway or camping trip or something! It's fun to spend your vacations in a different type of space than you're used to. Otherwise it's just like home, and it's not really getting away from your familiar surroundings.

My idea of a perfect getaway is if there was a lazy river right outside my doorway! Ha!

Beautiful Resort Like Getaway

This looks like the perfect escape! What a beautiful retreat! It looks like a large enough place to hold as many as 10 or 12 people, so who wants to go with me!?

I'd like to find out where this is actually located, so if anyone knows, let me know.  It definitely looks like some sort of a rental, like an Airbnb or something. I can't imagine this being someone's actual home, but I guess that's possible. It just looks like a resort or vacation home possibly.

So, I am loving the openness of the structure. I love how the downstairs is all open to the outside air. And I love the pool! It's so pretty!  I am also liking the shape of the structure, architecturally. I get bored with cardboard box shaped homes. I like a little variety. Some angles and unique shapes.

Fun Tree Houses

Ok, I like to have a little fun sometimes. Who doesn't?  Well, I saw these and I couldn't resist! These tree houses are so adorable, especially the one on the right. How much fun is that? It looks like it's built on top of a huge tree stump!  The one on the left looks like a more adult version, and one that I would be absolutely thrilled to spend time in!

Country Home With Exposed Wood Framing

I'm not quite sure if I like this room or if I dislike it. The things that I like about it are the beautiful staircase and railing, the sleek fireplace in the corner, and the simple lines of the place. The things that I don't like are the exposed wood framing everywhere you look.  It's kind of a bit much, if you ask me. Maybe if it was just on the ceiling, or an accent wall or something, but not on all the surfaces...I also don't care for the total lack of color in the space. There's only brown and black. So, overall, I'm not too excited about this room.  What do you think?

If I look closer, I could see that there's several different materials used in this home, and that's kinda cool too. I like how the wood flooring is two different colors and so is the one step that leads up to the staircase. The use of different colored materials creates variety and movement of your eyes around the room. I also like the country setting. The view is absolutely picturesque outside that huge window. Love the horses that the photographer captured in the frame.

Interesting Cabin

This is a unique, yet simple cabin in a beautiful setting in the woods. It has an open concept living area with plenty of natural light. I love the adobe fireplace like structure in the center of the room. It's an interesting contrast to the rest of the house. It's actually just an accent to the metal fireplace just to the right of it. I almost think it would have been better if it was just an adobe fireplace, but oh well. It's still nice having that to look at.

I also like the color of the metal they used. It matches and blends in with the woods around it. I'm sure they chose that color on purpose. I liked this one so much and went to their website so I could share more photos of the inside. Enjoy!
