Love this room! It makes good use of the space available, and is decorated nicely in subdued and monochromatic colors. I'm wondering though, what is that space behind the bed? It almost looks like another small room, but how would you get in there? Unless there is more to this house than what's shown in this photo. My depth perception must be off because it looks deeper than just a window ledge.
I wonder also if this is just the loft portion of an A-Frame house? It seems to be at ground level, but it's hard to tell. The trees outside could be the upper branches, and this room could be in the loft area of the home. Either way, it's beautiful and I like it. The only thing that doesn't really work for me is the small size. If there was a bit more room, that would be better!
What do you guys think?

This is an interesting room for several reasons. It has a huge central design focal point, which is a stone fireplace with an attached stone staircase that goes up and around the back side of the fireplace. I don't think I've ever seen stone staircases inside of a home either! It's definitely different...Then add to it, twisted and knobby wood railings and it's one-of-a-kind!! I know many will try to mimic this in their own designs, and they will be equally as beautiful, but this one is a one-of-a-kind creation.
I am loving the rustic wood beams used in the ceiling. They are raw and unprocessed, much like the wood paneling on the far wall. This rustic theme carries through much of the home. The only finished areas seem to be the flooring and the wall on the left, which is likely covered in dry wall and given a textured finish.
This is a true gem of a rustic cabin home, and one I would enjoy living in!

Now this is on the tiny home bandwagon. It is a unique cabin style tiny home, complete with a hot tub! I believe that adding a hot tub to your home's design is the best thing you can do to improve the quality of your space and the value of your home! I know I may get some people who disagree, so let me drive the point home by asking, when is the last time that you've soaked in a hot tub and been disappointed.....exactly. Probably never. Unless it was not directly connected to, or near your house maybe, and you had to even commute there by car or something. Then a hot tub wouldn't be as enjoyable. But imagine that hot tub was accessible directly from your home as it is in this case, and then it would be perfect!
So, I think this is the perfect home, albeit a bit small. But anyone who's looked into a tiny home knows that utilizing the outdoor space is very important since there's not much indoor space to work with. And adding a hot tub to the outside space of a tiny home is genius!
So, if I was in the market for a tiny home, would I choose this one? Probably. :)

Believe it or not, this cabin was built from a kit! How beautiful! I wouldn't have guessed!
Actually, a lot of modern cabins are built this way. It saves time and money, plus it avoids common pitfalls and guesswork which frequently happen when building a cabin from scratch. If you've ever tried building a cabin from scratch, you'll know what I mean.
Now, I'm not saying that kit building is the preferred way for everyone...but it does have its advantages. But it lacks originality and uniqueness. And a large amount of cabin lovers are looking for just that when they decide to build their own cabin home. So, that being said, if you are in the market to build your own cabin, make a list of what's important to you and then do your research! Then decide between scratch building or kit building, and enjoy your journey!

Now, this isn't a cabin exactly, but it was still worth sharing because it is an interesting home. I love the rooftop terrace on this place! What a great area for entertaining guests. I wonder if that brick area is a fireplace...It probably is since its directly above a fireplace on the lower level. There is another home close to this one, so it's not very private, but still a fun escape from everyday life. I could see myself staying here, especially if it's near a lake!!!

No, I'm not in the business of renting cabins, but i couldn't pass up the opportunity to share this little gem that I came across It's pretty likable because it is so unique and different! The entryway is interesting and the tower is a great feature. It looks like it is in a remote area, which is nice for some peace and quiet! Might have to make my way out to North Carolina to rent this cute little place someday!

This is a pretty tastefully decorated cabin great room. It features several basic stables of a typical cabin home, such as, a rocking chair, a leather sofa, and a fireplace. It even has some unique accents like the wine barrel side table and life size totem pole! Other details that make this house fit the mold of cabin design are the use of unprocessed wood beams, the southwestern patterns in the rugs and throw pillows, and a natural color palette.
When I outfit my cabin home, I look for quality items that will last. I found this handsome rocking chair online. It's made in Montana using premium lodge pole pine and will last several generations because it's built well.
I like to find unique items at flea markets as well. Even antique stores usually have a fair amount of interesting finds. The best items you can be lucky enough to have are family heirlooms. These are irreplaceable and one of a kind.

Wow, this is a cool little Polyhedron Home. I bet it is quite interesting to live here. They probably have very minimal furnishings since it's so small. And they obviously wanted to add on another room so they can have more space. It makes me wonder ... how someone could possibly live this way. I mean, you can't have anything unless it's completely necessary to daily living. But it must be peaceful to live such a simple life. I wonder if they live off the land or have a regular job? Or how many kids they decided to have? Or why did they choose this design for their home instead of something more basic in design like a yurt or a traditional four walled home? I guess I'll never know...

Here's another unique cabin design, using a monochromatic color palette, with white as its primary color. I think the wall that the fireplace sits on is definitely one of the most unique walls I've seen in awhile. It looks like real stone that's been covered with a thin coat of some sort of Spackle or something. I have no idea, but I like it. It's probably not for everybody, but I think it's different and refreshing. I also like the furnishings used in this space. They are soft and feminine and have a sophisticated look to them. They almost have a hint of pink in them.
It's also been decorated or staged in such a way to keep your eye moving from place to place around the room, by use of repeated colors, textures and shapes. How many times do you see the color green in this room? How about how often are plush fur items used in this room? They did a good job keeping your eyes entertained when they designed this room.

Now, isn't this an interesting find!? What a strange house! Of course I like it because I'm a bit odd myself. But seriously, where else have you ever seen a house stacked up like this? I bet the inside is interesting and small. It looks like it has minimal furnishings inside. Or maybe it's just on display for people to come visit, and only has a few things inside. What I like best about this structure is its geometric design. A close second is the use of the rich dark wood in its construction. My least favorite things would be its location out in the middle of a pile of rocks, and how many stairs I'd have to go up and down on any given day!
Well, hope you enjoyed this unique building as much as I did.
Love this room! It makes good use of the space available, and is decorated nicely in subdued and monochromatic colors. I'm wondering ...
This is quite the bathroom. I don't know of any cabin with this much extra space to have a bathroom this large, but what the hey... ...
What a gorgeous dining room! I like the colors used here, as I tend to favor the more Gray-Brown color to the basic browns regularly f...
